Breast Revision in Miami by Top Plastic Surgeons
A breast revision surgery includes breast augmentation revision and breast implant revision surgical procedure. Sometimes after a breast augmentation or a breast implant procedure, it may cause a change in size, shape, asymmetry or deflation of the implants. Sometimes, years after surgery, the implants are required to be replaced or to fix the disposition of the implants. This surgery may also be undergone after weight loss to fix the change in breast tissue that has been starched or loosened.
When patients undergo a breast enhancement procedure using saline or silicone implants, these implants may require a replacement due to tearing, leaking or simply removing the old silicone breast implant and replacing it with the new ones. This surgical procedure can also be undergone if the patient wants to remove the breast implants permanently or increase/decrease the size of their breasts.

A breast revision surgery is performed as a breast reconstructive surgery. It involves correcting the previous breast surgical procedures undergone to enhance the breasts. Are Their Any Instructions To Be Followed Before And After A Breast Revision Surgery?
If you have already experienced breast augmentation surgery, then this would be almost the same.
Before surgery, avoid smoking, consumption of alcohol or intake or aspirin, multivitamins and anti- inflammatory medication. Consume high protein, low sodium foods and have fresh fruits and vegetables. Try to consume a clean diet by avoiding heavy foods. Avoid caffeine. You will be required to stay at the clinic for at least two days for post- operative purposes after your surgery, so plan and pack accordingly.
After surgery, make sure you follow all the post- operative instructions as will be guided by your patient coordinator and do not remove your compression garment. Take adequate rest and try to sleep on your back. Avoid showers, sauna and direct contact of the surgical area to come in contact with water for at least 2 weeks. Drainage tubes will be attached to your breasts and will be removed by the medical staff in one of your post- op appointments. You will experience some normal symptoms such as scarring and milf pin which is expected to disappear with time.
